Reiffenberger selected as next CEO of the Co-op Credit Union
After several months working with a professional search company that specializes in executive searches and interviewing several candidates, the Co-op Credit Union Board of Directors found the person that best fit the requirements for the position of CEO for Co-op Credit Union is already on staff. They have selected Kayla Reiffenberger to be the next CEO. She will assume the duties of her position upon the retirement of Linda Givan in November of this year.
Reiffenberger grew up in Montevideo. She worked at the credit union part time when she was in high school and college. Upon graduation from Southwest State University in 2005, she sat for and received her Certified Public Accountant license in 2006. Before coming back to Montevideo in 2010 to fill the Chief Financial Officer position at the Co-op Credit Union, she worked for the State of Minnesota Auditors Office auditing counties and an independent CPA firm in Aberdeen, SD.
Reiffenberger is currently serving on the Montevideo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Montevideo Foundation Board of Directors.
Reiffenberger and her husband Corey live in Montevideo with their two young children, Gracyn and Lainey.
