Accounting Manager – Montevideo 56265
Full Time Position
Co-op Credit Union is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager based in our Montevideo branch. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has experience in leading a team, interacting with all staff levels, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position will oversee the operations of the accounting department. The Accounting manager will recommend, implement and administer accounting controls, policies and procedures. This position will also oversee the credit union’s regulatory and financial reporting process including recording financial information in accordance with the accounting principles generally accepted in the United States. The Accounting Manager shall provide positive leadership for the accounting department. The position will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
-A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting along with 3-4 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is preferred.
-Certified Public Accountant certification desirable.
