Co-op Credit Union breaks ground on new location in Willmar
Co-op Credit Union held their groundbreaking ceremony on September 17th for their new branch office in Willmar.
The new branch will be located at the corner of 5th St SE and 19th Avenue across from Qdoba and Aldi’s grocery store. The 4,500 square foot building will take approximately 6-8 months to construct with a tentative move in planned for the Spring of 2019.
Co-op Credit Union has been serving the Willmar Community since 2004 at their location currently in Cub Foods.
The branch was designed by HTG Architects based out of Minneapolis. The General Contractor for the project will be TerWisscha Construction, Inc (TWC) from Willmar.
The new branch will create a better experience for members with the inclusion of a drive-up and an ATM. The branch will also feature a technology center which will provide members with quick, convenient access to information on membership, accounts and other credit union services.
“As we break ground on our new Willmar branch, we look forward to connecting with new members while maintaining the strong relationships we have built with existing members in Willmar and the surrounding communities,” said President/CEO Kayla Reiffenberger. “This full-service branch reinforces our commitment to our members to be their financial home by providing a variety of services designed to meet their financial needs.”
