Earlier this year it was announced that the Enhanced Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) program was going to be held in Minnesota. Our management team felt this would be a great opportunity for staff development and was a way we could continue to meet the ever-changing needs of our members. We selected one employee from each branch to go through this program.
Cindy B. (Montevideo), Kim T. (Benson), Connie (Canby), and Brad (Willmar) spent 5 months working on this professional development program. This consisted of many hours of education and testing. Upon completion of this course they have all earned the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation.
