Co-op Credit Union has been receiving calls from our Members stating they received a text message from a fraud detection service, advising their card has been deactivated and they need to call immediately to resolve the issue. The text does not identify any information related to the card number, transactions, or financial institution name.
The goal of this scam is to gain personal information. If you have received this message, DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS AND DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!
